Silverlight 3 – What does it mean?
Silverlight 3 has been released, and it has a ton of great stuff. It has stuff that Erik breaks down into 4 categories:
- Graphics stuff – support for the GPU and 3D graphics
- Out-of-the-Browser applications – support for Silverlight outside of the browser frame
- Misc programmatic enhancements – element binding, dynamic resources, etc.
- Tooling support – Blend got a powerful upgrade
